Organization of the Modern Fianna

T he modern Fianna unit should consist of a maximum of nine people. These people should all live in the same geographical area so that they can practice, worship and study together. There is not real structure to the unit except someone must be chosen by whatever means decided by the group, to be the leader and public voice for the unit. The rank of Riggfennid is claimed by the person who is selected as the leader.

Each unit is autonomous from all others. In the instance where two or more units come together at a festival or worship service then they need to select a leader to speak for all the Fianna present at the event. Fianna must always stand together and appear united in front of those who are not Fianna. This demonstrates solidarity and unity among the group and presents a positive image to the public. If any person starts showing signs of being overly arrogant or egotistical they should not be the leader of any Fianna unit. Attitudes are expected among warrior types, but not to the point of annoyance.
