Welcome to the pages of the Fianna Project. The purpose of the project is to make available to the general public the ideas that a few people have on the development of a modern Fianna among the Celtic Reconstruction Pagan religious movement. Let me open by saying that not just anyone can use this material. It is all copywritten and we want to make sure that our material is not being plagerized by some of the other groups that exist. If you intend to use this material in a teaching forum, on your website or as additions to something you are writing, you must get WRITTEN permission from myself before hand.
The Fianna Project began a few years ago on an e-mail list known as Nemeton as a discussion between Lugaid Macrobert, Erynn Rowan Laurie and Lorax. At the time I was not well versed on the Fianna so I did not get involved but I absorbed thier opinions and insights as well as documenting the resource material. Since then I have read much of the information available, even the romantic stuff, and have developed ideas of my own. These pages will make available my opinions and ideas as they have developed. I am only presenting the basics at this time, as I have not fully thought out the more detailed information. I do plan to expand on this page as well as the Inis Glas Thoir website as more information comes available or is developed.
